Josiah **Bad Azz** Grant!

First Time with a MAN!

**Bad Azz** Workshop!!!

Today I travel to Milton Keynes to visit

**Bad Azz**    & of course the lovely Polenastics crew!

This is my first workshop with a man and wasn’t sure how I felt as I’ve never really seen a male pole dancer shaking his thang. I have to say…DANG!!!  I’m IMPRESSED coz he taught me a trick or too (not saying I know every trick in the book but I’m a female…. Surely I should?)

I am thankful for **Bad Azz** for showing me how to:

1) Make ….. *ahem*…. My Booty ‘Clap’…. Yes you heard right and Yes it’s more of an applause than just the singular clap, but we’re working on it 😀

2) get into those signature moves of his, Kamikazee, The Dangerous, Popcorn, Scissor splits, Flow & some Sexeeeeeeey floor work!

3) do it America Stylee…. The language, the movements it was all SO inspiringly sexy & motivating! Fab Dancer, SUPER flexible and hardcore strength! Wow, What a man!!!

Love HIM!!!!   😀  xxxx

My Dirty Secret….

18th September 2010

I’ve got a dirty secret…..

So it’s my birthday this weekend and I have to tell my girls something VERY important today. Yesterday I signed a contract to work for West Star Rehearsal Studios. The legacy of working for Bar 95 aka The White Horse will now come to an end. We will have our own dedicated Pole Studio with available parking, laminate floors, mirrors, and big spacious area to dance in. I wonder how they take the news….. We’ll see 😀

Polenastics Jam in Hitchin

12th September 2010

The Speed Humps from HELL!!!! Oh & the lovely polenastics JAM!

Yes we’re over in Hitchin this time causing more havoc and taking up space on their poles this time we had them all to ourselves as they were all poop’d after too many spins and twizzles with Pippa!!

We nearly had a pole each and left learning the process of how to drop from Airwalk into Pea… but none of us having the minerals to do it! Hmm…. Maybe next time? 😀

Thank You Pippa for teaching me some more moves even though inside I’m sure your body was screaming NO MORRREEEEEE!!!!

We took home Daredevil today, Joni & I were VERY pleased 😀

The journey home was bliss too….. after we found the route WITHOUT speed humps.

Bloggin

Beginner Blogger

So today I’ve looked in my diary and backdated everything I’ve been upto, I’m new to blogging and to be honest writing my life as I go? We all do so much in a day surely you can’t write it all? Actually you wouldn’t want to read it all? Some bits are just mundane?!

Whilst writing I have realised the following

1)      I write everything that comes into my head – ( May not be a good thing? Items such as lol… and general ‘sayings’ that I use day to day = Not Cool! )

2)      My grammar & punctuation… It’s just shocking isn’t it?! I have no excuse, I did go to school. Just never paid attention to that bit & to be honest we’re all good at something….. mine’s not grammar & punctuation! 🙂 If you don’t like it feel free to spell proof each item and send back to me ( Thanks 🙂 )

3)      From point 2 you’ll notice I even ‘make words up’, I do this in class to…. I call it Talking Dyslexic ( I am sorry if this offends anyone who is actually dyslexic) but I do talk dyslexic, my mouth cannot keep up with my brain and all the words come out at the same time OR sometimes I don’t have the right words so use a far inferior word in its place that barely / vaguely  explains my point. Funny in class ( students laugh with / at me… either way they are laughing 🙂 ) however rubbish when you are in an argument!

4)      I use ……….. far too much. I try and replicate my everyday speech and I suppose I call that a ‘dramatic pause’. Either way it’s using up web space. Note to self – ditch it 🙂

5)      Serial Offender of Text Speak! U kno wot I mean? T3rrible! LOL

6)      I love Smiley Faces in whatever format they come in   🙂  😀  🙂  😀  🙂  😛

My main come back to all the above….Well what can I say….. I’m only human ain’t I? And well…. it’s my blog so Ner Ner Ner Ner Nah!  🙂

Zombie Photoshoot

Zombie Photoshoot

So I’ve come back off a *LUSH* holiday relaxing, drinking, working & just tanning my hide.( Thank You to my pole princess for that you know who you are 😀 ). I’m looking more than healthy & what did I book in my diary?

A Zombie Photoshoot with the deadly mix of Anna-Marie Fullbrook, Pippa Ceaser, Louise Coburn,Dawn Roberts & the amazing photographer…..Scott Chalmers.

I’ll be honest I wasn’t even in the room. I was still *yawn* tired from holiday…. Tired? I know I had relaxed for a week – FATAL! I’d stopped hadn’t I! So today was just a chance to dress up and get eating some flesh 😀 – Anna promised me she wouldn’t scare me however with the white contacts in. She had to do the face…. you know that scary stare… *shudders* .

Lou did a FAB job on everyone’s make up, Pippa gave some much valued advice which led to me finalling nailing that Twisty Grip Handspring, Dawn just giggled the whole day and was fabulous on the pole despite grip issues ( I had the same said issues – think we over killed on the mud & gore 🙂 )

As for Anna-Marie, well she made the photoshoot just SUCH fun getting into character with rasping throat gurgling noises ( even scarier with those contact lenses and ‘the stare’ ) *Shudders*

Scott is such a professional and completely embraced the idea of the shoot & put up with some really craziness! Hahaha Poor man!

**Update**

To be honest I have the pics back and because I don’t watch Zombie movies ( Too scared ) my Zombie face isn’t that convincing …… *sigh* Never Mind… I had a Lush experience poling with the lovely ladies 🙂 xxx

A Memorable 30th…..

A Memorable 30th

This blog would not even be here if it wasn’t for pole & I would not even know these people if it wasn’t for Pole Dancing. 8 Girls hit Watford with one shared passion – POLE! A truly hilarious night out with some gorgeous girls all from class. I am truly grateful for having such amazing girls in my life and the night was SUCH a good night. Free Drinks left, right & centre. Free Entry, Vip Entry & our Taxi for the night was a 16 seater Hummer!

The thing I’ve learnt from this night is we may grow older in years, but we never truly grow up… only if you want to.

Also, people become insanely flexible when drunk and the prospect of 30 is looming.

Needless to say the birthday girl spent the first couple of weeks after her birthday on crutches…. We will never learn will we? Birthday girl… I love you and please listen to your pole mother when advised that ‘some things’ just ain’t a good idea?

Big Love – Pearcey  😀

Judging “Routine for the Nation”

Well I have just come back from the weekend as I was asked to be a  part of the judging panel for Routine for the Nation Competition in Plymouth. The competition was set up by the National Synchronised Pole Dance Squad ( of which I am a part of ) Otherwise known as NSPDS.

Studio 22 based in Taunton won R4N and we will soon be rolling out their winning routine.

Here it is right here!

I had a fab time judging ( although a lot of responsibility!) and enjoyed a workshop with Karen Chaundy of BodyBarre whilst I was in Plymouth. I even have the bruises to prove it 🙂

The NSPDS are doing great things…. Check out their website to find out more!

Our 1st Photoshoot

I Would Rather Be ….. Having a  Photo Shoot….. Ooooooh  😀

Today we had our first Photo Shoot in a collection of outfits! We each had a copy of our pics and a couple of group shots done too….. A brilliant day and I’m still working on my ‘face’ . When I say face I mean which ‘face’ works best in front of the camera. I have many faces some of which just ain’t pretty…. I won’t post those up funnily enough?! 😀

See the Gallery for the one’s that came out alright 🙂

DVD Assessment Rehearsal

Today I visited Helen’s house to film our DVD Assessment for our Intermediate Vertical Dance Qualification. Helen is an Ex -Student of mine who was bitten by the pole bug too & has started classes in Bucks also. Fab to spend time with her & brilliant to see her nail that Shoulder Mount!

Well Done Helen  xxx

Pantera Blacksmith…..WOW!!!!

A Workshop with a TRUE Idol & Inspiration…. Pantera Blacksmith. AMAZING!

Today has been the peak in my learning. A few hours with Pantera Blacksmith has taught me some life changing lessons! Her philosophies about pole & life, her professionalism, approachability, grounded, dedication to the sport, strength, sexiness, I could go on forever. Honestly I have taken so much away with me from these few hours – I can’t tell you all my secrets I’ve learnt, Come to my classes and you will SEE & FEEL how my classes have changed since she has been in my life. One of Pantera’s Mantra’s …… Better, Stronger….

I have taken all this on board and am striving to be the best I possibly can be. I thought I was before but no….. it was fizzled down by day to day life and other stresses. Pole TRULY makes me happy, it gives me a sense of worth seeing girls achieve what they struggle with and I LOVE seeing people happy….. it makes me Happy!

Lots of love and admiration for Pantera Blacksmith. Thank you Deb Riley for bringing her into our life & Polenastics for hosting such an inspiring day. I love you all  😀   – Pearcey xxxx
